Getting CoimbraBy Air: The Oporto International Airport, 120 Km (approx. 1h30 hour drive) or the Lisbon International Airport, 230 Km (approx. 2h30 hours drive) from Bucaco. The airport that is most convenient for intercontinental flights is Lisbon By Bus: Take a taxi from the airport to the bus station. The trip should take around 30 minutes, but this may vary depending on the existing traffic. Below you can find indicative fares. There are also daily buses connecting the three cities (Lisboa-Coimbra-Porto). You can see the schedules of the buses in Rede Expressos. By Train: From Lisbon you can leave Santa Apolónia Station or Oriente Station, using express trains to Coimbra. To arrive in Bucaco from Lisbon, the express train (Intercidades or Alfa) to Coimbra is highly recommended. |
